Ill-fated twins

This took me 2 whole days on my phone to complete.


This is prior before Ave entered the nursery and waaaaaaaay before she met Solus.



The History of the Twins

She and her Twin, Maria, lived in terror and their only protection were their parents. Unfortunately, their father left them with their mother, as he could not stray too far from his place.

Ave loved her sister but she was always (unintentionally) outshined by her older twin. She kept quiet and endured it because she loved her twin very much.

One day, at the age of 5, her mother could only bring one of them with her and Ave's young mind became a torrent of tormenting delusions. She loved her mother and her sister more than her life. But the young one knew she would not be able to survive on her own and she just knew that her mother would pick Maria, the favourote child between the two.

So Ave, in a crazed state, conjured a hammer and, as she lifted up her hammer, Maria, with frightened little eyes, smiled sadly, "Be a good girl and make mother proud. I'll be watching over you."

Eventually though, her mother found out what had happened. Disgusted that she had a child who behaved almost human, Ave was abandoned, all alone in a desert.

Distraught at losing both her mother and sister, her mind split into two, causing the other....half to win.






Relationship:

Saiku (mother/alive)- Although she had left Ave to her own devices and to die on her own, Saiku was still a mother and though she has no interest in her other children, she knew well then to live a broken doll behind, so she went back to search for Ave. It took her 300 years, but she eventually found her again; drenched in a blood field filled with dead and broken skull hunters and skull twitchies.

Maria (Sister/deceased)- She was killed by her younger twin, in a fit of jealousy. She was the one who casted an illusion on Ave to protect them both which, ironically enough, took both their young lives away. She literally watches over her younger sister, though is usually unseen, unless Saiku is around.

Ares (Father/unknown)- It is unsure as to whether he is still alive or dead. Although, he is most likely alive as Saiku had once carelessly mentioned, "The God of War is coming.....your father sure is worried."











Yeeah I wanted to show everyone that Ave wasn't always a bad guy. If anything, she was the shy and quiet one and had always yearned for the same affection her twin was showered with.
